My grandfather worked at York Tires downtown for many many years. He was the assistant manager.

My sister and I would go to his shop after school to wait until my mom got off of work.

I heard tires rolling on the upper floors when he would let us ride up on the elevator.

Then, while I had to use the bathroom, I saw a lady in complete grey flapper attire walk through the door (it was a one stall).

I quickly said "excuse me" because I was 8-years-old at the time and didn't know better.

The woman in grey looked at me as if I were in the wrong, checked herself in the mirror, then walked through the wall.

The only place we weren’t allowed to go in there was the second floor. They had completely closed it off. They had a few incidents where if you went to the floor, the people in direct contact would be in a completely different mental state.
