We lived in a haunted house at 3402 S. Lamar. Moved out the second our lease was up and no one stayed there longer than year until it was recently remodeled and sold. It was definitely one of the scariest experiences of my life.

The first night we experienced something paranormal, I saw a black shadow in the back yard, looked like a man in a hat. The dog went crazy, too. Later that night, our son saw a man in black standing in his room. He never slept in that room again. 13 years old, had to sleep on the floor next to my bed.

Anyway, the animals refused to go in the back of the house, refused to go outside by themselves. I heard voices in the walls and footsteps in the ceiling. One time our son and his friend got locked in the bathroom and the door didn't even have a lock. They had to climb out the bathroom window to get out.

The whole house was unsettling and I couldn't wait to move.
