We lived in a house that was built in the early 1900's here in Amarillo.
First, there was the little girl calling "Mama". She was heard by people who were in the house and at least twice while I was talking on the phone.
Second, a dark figure would walk through the hallway at random times.
Third, my husband was home sick one afternoon, sleeping in bed. He felt someone sit on the bed beside him and thought it was me. When he glanced in the mirror (he was facing the dresser with a mirror on it), he saw a guy laying in bed with his bandaged leg being elevated.
So many stories about that house. It's an Airbnb now and I'd love to rent it for a night.
