3315 sunlite here in amarillo... unlocked the door, turned the knob and it pulled away from me...in another incident the back door opened and shut by itself like at 11:00 pm

Olsen Park was one of Amarillo's major west-side residential developments during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Unit 17 was developed during Amarillo's post-war expansion and primarily attracted middle-class families. Many early residents worked in:

- Pantex - Bell Helicopter - Amarillo Air Force Base (before it closed in 1968) - Southwestern Public Service - Amarillo Independent School District - Local medical and business professions
