House in Amarillo: The White Monster.

We’ve lived in this house for about 16 years.

When we bought it, our kids were still really little and we were excited to have our first home. But not long after moving in, strange things started happening.

Our son was about 3 or 4 years old and would talk to and play with something we couldn’t see. At first we thought it was just an imaginary friend, but then we started hearing footsteps in the house when nobody else was around.

Things would move on their own, and one day we even found a butter knife bent completely in half. Then our son started getting terrified.

He would come crying and shaking, pointing to the same spot every time saying, “The white monster.”

Whatever he was seeing scared him so bad.

Then one day he said something that still gives me chills: “The white monster wants my sister.”

Our daughter had never complained about anything strange until one night she came running out of her room looking completely terrified. She handed me her Nintendo DS crying and told me to play the video she had just recorded.

At first it was normal, just her singing like kids do, but then out of nowhere a deep raspy voice that sounded like an old man said, “Oh, you’re a singer.”

I almost dropped the DS. Before I could replay it, my daughter grabbed it back and deleted the recording because she never wanted to hear it again. It took forever to calm her down.

Not long after that, we had a close family member pass away. Our son told us he could see that family member, there was things he told us where there was no way he could have known and then he said this family member told him he didn’t have to be scared of the white monster anymore.

And after that… everything stopped. No more footsteps, no more weird things moving, no more fear.

I still can’t explain what happened in that house, but after living through all of that, I became a true believer in the paranormal.”
