I have two experiences to share of I seen something, but don't know what it was. If you're familiar with the Texas Panhandle, you are aware how remote it can be. I'm fortunate to be able to hunt on a section of property a close friend owns between Shamrock and Wheeler.
September 2014
The first experience (September, 2014) was my buddy and I during dove season. We would walk the shelter belts in the morning and evening to get a few birds. The rest of the day was spent prepping for deer season - working on stands, filling feeders, and other ranch work.
One evening we had shut all the barn lights off after dinner to just watch the stars and have a few cold ones. I remember seeing several satellites and shooting stars then saw one what I thought was another satellite, but it sped up as it moved through the sky and changed colors from white, to red, to green, to blue, and finally disappeared.
I asked my buddy if he saw that too - his response was "satellites don't speed up or change color, so what the heck was that?"
I told him I during know, but was glad he saw it too.
November 2017
The second experience was in November of 2017.
Me, my buddy, his adult son and grandson, and another buddy were at the ranch for opening weekend of deer season and we were sitting out after dinner discussing who was going to what stand in the morning. We had the exterior barn lights off again and just sitting and shooting the bull.
I noticed a large flying object - coming from the east movinging towards us and asked them if they could see it. It was much, much larger than a modern passenger jet and passed directly overhead, very low.
It was totally silent, moving very slow and deliberate - seemed to slow for a jet, blotted out the stars and We could make out the outline of this triangle shaped object.
It passed over us and continued moving west until it was over the horizon - it never made a sound. We were all silent for a couple minutes until my buddy said " Seeing some weird stuff lately".
I'm convinced the second was some type of flying craft that's wasn't USAF or US owned. I hunt there every year and haven't seen anything else, but others have told of seeing objects they can't explain.
