Old Northwest Hospital Tales
“I was leaving a patient’s apartment at the old northwest Texas hospital and as I passed the chapel, I had to move to the side because somebody was walking out of the door as I was passing it and when I turned to say, excuse me, there was no one there!”
"Worked there in the 90s. It’s haunted. The old nuns quarters above the cafeteria was creepy and the 4th floor of newer bld (psych wardeven more so !:). The iron lung they have in the BSA campus now came from the nuns quarters there!!"
I Quit
i worked for a Medical Records company that stored old medical records in the basement after it closed. I was required to go retrieve files from there.
There was normally just a security guard there and nobody else, but I would always catch movement out of the corner of my eyes.
Numerous cold spots and always felt like I wasn't alone.
After the 3rd day there, I mentioned to the security guard that it felt like there were so many people down there.
He just chuckled and said, "well of course there are. This used to be the morgue".
I didn't give 2 weeks notice. I left right then! The shortest amount of time ever on a job!
