Hollands Addition

Holland's Addition was one of Amarillo's earliest residential additions north of downtown.

Characteristics included:

• developed during Amarillo's railroad expansion
• primarily working-class housing
• many Santa Fe Railroad employees
• many stockyard workers
• homes generally built between about 1915 and 1935

Many houses in the subdivision are still original today.
